Ulysses Fowler
Managing Director
Mr. Fowler is a managing director in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy. He focuses on identifying investment ideas, sourcing investment opportunities, executing investments, and providing board-level oversight to portfolio companies. Mr. Fowler currently serves on the boards of Enercon Services, Inc., Richards Manufacturing, CEBAT and COL Group. He previously served on the boards of ArchKey Solutions, Energy Solutions International, MWH Constructors, Saber Power Services, Shermco Industries, and Solomon Corporation. Prior to joining Oaktree in 2010, Mr. Fowler was a private equity investor at MissionPoint Capital Partners, where he focused on evaluating industry trends, identifying investment opportunities, executing investments, and providing oversight and support to portfolio companies in the utility and energy sectors. Mr. Fowler received a B.A. degree in chemistry with honors and a Certificate in Public Policy from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
