Tanvi Desai

Ms. Desai is a managing director and Co-Director of Research for Oaktree’s U.S. High Yield Bond strategy.  She serves on Oaktree’s United Groups Connect Diversity & Inclusion Council (UGC) and Oaktree’s ACORN employee resource network.  Ms. Desai’s investment experience spans the capital structure investing in both public securities and private opportunities.  Prior to joining Oaktree in 2010, she spent three years in private equity investing at Harvest Partners and two years in investment banking at Citi in the Financial Sponsors group.  Ms. Desai graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a B.S. degree in finance and information systems and earned her M.B.A. from Cornell University.
