Mr. Lee is a managing director in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy. He is involved in all aspects of GFI Energy’s investment activities including identifying and investing in companies well positioned to capitalize on growth opportunities in our target sectors, and working with our portfolio companies to help drive shareholder value creation. Mr. Lee currently serves on the boards of MWH Constructors, Remedial Construction Services (RECON), and Trench Plate Rental Co. He previously served on the boards of Contract Land Staff, Horizon Solar Power, OpTerra Energy Group and SitelogIQ, and was an observer on the board of Osmose Holdings. Prior to joining Oaktree in 2009, Mr. Lee began his career at Merrill Lynch in the global industries investment banking group, where he focused on providing debt and equity capital raising and M&A advisory for diversified industrials and engineering & construction companies. Mr. Lee graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. degree in business administration, corporate finance from the University of Southern California.
