Hideya Takahashi

Mr. Takahashi joined Oaktree in 2007 from Pangaea Capital Management, where he was an assistant vice president. Prior to Pangaea, Mr. Takahashi worked at Lazard and Broadview International, where he was involved in several corporate M&A transactions in the manufacturing, hospitality and technology sectors. Prior to that, Mr. Takahashi was a research associate for Dr. James C. Abegglen, co-founder of Boston Consulting Group and an authority on Japanese Management, where he supported Dr. Abegglen in publishing “21st Century Japanese Management.” Mr. Takahashi received a B.A. degree in economics from Keio University in Tokyo.
