Harvey Byun

Mr. Byun is a senior vice president in the Real Estate group based in Seoul.  In this role, he leads Oaktree’s acquisition efforts for real estate opportunities in South Korea.  Mr. Byun joined Oaktree in 2017 after having spent two years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Real Estate Gaming and Lodging Investment Banking Group in New York. Mr. Byun graduated magna cum laude from the Huntsman Program in international studies and business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a B.S. in economics with a concentration in finance from the Wharton School and a B.A. in international studies from the College of Arts and Sciences.
