Federico Alvarez-Demalde

Mr. Alvarez-Demalde joined Oaktree in 2011 following graduation from Harvard Business School, where he received his M.B.A. degree. Before business school, Mr. Alvarez-Demalde spent two years at SAC Capital Management as a senior analyst covering emerging markets. Prior thereto, he worked as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs’s New York office. Other relevant experience includes internships at Moon Capital in New York and Magna Capital in Buenos Aires. Mr. Alvarez-Demalde received a B.S. degree in industrial engineering from the University of Michigan. He is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese.
