Daniel Saieh, CFA

Mr. Saieh is a managing director in Marketing and leads the Latin American and Caribbean business for Oaktree. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial markets, primarily working with Latin American institutional investors. Prior to joining Oaktree in 2012, Mr. Saieh served as a managing director and head of Latin America at VelocityShares. From 2001 to 2011, he held various positions at BlackRock, including director of Institutional Business for Latin America and equity portfolio manager, responsible for over $40bn in index funds. In the past, he was at Dresdner RCM, and earlier in his career, he worked at two local broker dealers on the Santiago Stock Exchange as an equity analyst and equity trader. Mr. Saieh holds a B.A. degree in business administration from Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile and an M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is a CFA charterholder.
