Brett Penprase

Mr. Penprase joined Oaktree with 27 years of industry experience spanning various asset classes, distribution channels and client types. Mr. Penprase joined Oaktree from Challenger Limited, where he was a senior institutional business development manager. Mr. Penprase began his career as an equities assistant with Global Funds Management which became part of Tyndall Investment Management in 1994. He then moved on to Zurich Investments where he rose to become the head of manager research for retail distribution after being the head of settlements and unit pricing. Following the ten-year stint at Zurich, Mr. Penprase spent the next decade in distribution as an assistant vice president with Partners Group and subsequently director of institutional sales with Robeco. He received a B.B. degree in accounting and finance from the University of Technology Sydney.
