Jared Parker

Mr. Parker is a managing director and co-head of North America for Oaktree’s Global Opportunities strategy where he leads many of the team’s investing efforts across the infrastructure, energy, transportation and logistics sectors.  He is based in the firm’s New York office.  Mr. Parker first joined Oaktree in 2014 from Highstar Capital and has nearly two decades of experience in private equity, opportunistic credit, operational leadership, investment banking and finance.  He is a director on the boards of Enercon Services, Inc., and United Road Services.  Previously he served on the boards of Environmental 360 Solutions, Northstar Energy, Energy Partners (NYSE: NGL), ADS Waste Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ADSW), Black Bear Midstream, London City Airport and the Ports America Companies and as an observer to the boards of InterGen and Northern Star Generation.  Mr. Parker served as president of Ports America Stevedoring, the largest business unit inside Ports America from 2010 through 2012.  Prior to joining Highstar in 2005, he worked as an advisor to the Highstar team on several transactions as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank.  While at Deutsche Bank, Mr. Parker advised domestic and power generation companies and financial sponsors on mergers and acquisitions and financings.  Mr. Parker holds a B.A. degree in international relations from Stanford University.
